Safari Kids Learning Center to other parents that are seeking a
quality and innovative educaitonal program for their son or

children and the need to meet their individual educational needs.
She goes above and beyond in her educaitonal training and is a

Our Mission
At Safari Kids
Learning Center we believe that children develop best in an
environment where they feel safe, secure and loved. We strive
to provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate program
for toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged
children. Children are challenged to explore and learn about
their world through concrete, yet meaningful experiences which
support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical
development. We provide peace of mind to our parents who are
able to be confident and secure in the knowledge that their child is
in caring and competent hands.
Program Goals
The goals of Safari Kids Learning Center
are to:
-
Provide opportunities for a child to
develop social, emotional, cognitive and physical
growth.
-
Help children develop a positive self-image.
-
Encourage self-expression through art, music,
creative movement, and story-telling.
-
Help children deal with feelings and emotions and
create relationships among peers.
-
Develop the child's problem solving skills.
-
Guide children to manage themselves and their
environment.
-
Keep open lines of communication with parents to
better form a partnership necessary for the benefit of the child.

PROGRAM
OVERVIEW
At Safari Kids Learning
Center we take a very hands-on approach to learning. Children
are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of structured
and free choice activities that teach language and literacy, math,
science, social, emotional, and physical skills. Our approach
to learning focuses on the whole child. We begin our school
day with an interactive "Morning Meeting" time in which the
children participate in structured group activities which help to
promote language and literacy, math, science, social, and physical
skills. Following Morning Meeting, children are able to choose
from various "free-choice" center activities in our print-rich,
interactive classroom. Because our classroom is organized
into learning centers, children are engaged in educational
activities throughout the day and are able to freely choose
activities which interest them.
Our
Preschool and Kindergarten programs follow the Pre-K and
Kindergarten curriculum guidelines and P.A.S.S. Skills of
the Oklahoma State Department of Education and the Early Learning
Guidelines for 3 to 5 year
olds.
