Interview Process
Families seeking placement into
our program go through a series of interviews to ensure that Safari
Kids Learning Center meets the needs of their child.
1. Initial
Interview
The initial interview is done
after regular business hours so that I am able to devote my full
attention to the new family as well as for the protection and safety
of our current students. After scheduling the initial
interview, you will be asked to fill out an application form
and read through the Parent Handbook and contract before the initial
interview so that I can answer any questions you might have.
After scheduling an initial interview, you will
recieve the following documents by mail or
e-mail:
2. Observation
Visit (Optional)
After the initial interview, if I feel
that I am able to meet the family's childcare
needs AND I feel that Safari Kids is the right fit for the
child, parents may schedule a visit to observe during regular
child care hours. The new child is encouraged to attend so
that they may become familiar with the child care program.
Observations are scheduled during morning free choice activities and
may last no longer than 1 hour.
3. Final
Meeting
Families accepted into the child care
program will be invited back for a final meeting to
review Safari Kids policies and procedures and to complete
necessary paperwork.
